The Ocular Angiogensis Group is always looking for motivated students to join our lab as part of an internship.
The following projects are currently available:
- The role of PLVAP in endothelial transcytosis
- Development of a zebrafish model for the pathological breakdown of the blood-retinal barrier
- The role of adrenomedullin in tip cells and angiogenesis
Other projects available from March 2024:
- Characterization of the neurovascular unit in the diabetic retina and brain
Techniques
Confocal imaging, live-cell imaging, in vitro permeability and angiogenesis models, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, siRNA inhibition, lentiviral transductionoverexpression, in situ hybridization, correlative light-electron microscopy (CLEM).
